In 2015, the band was founded in Washington DC by the band's vocalist Arvind Venugopal, in a quest to explore and blend South Indian Carnatic styled music with New Age Electronic, Classic Rock, and other musical embellishments. A dreamy vision to respectfully balance between the traditional wisdom of Indian Classical music with the explorative courage of modern music - to create a soothing new sound with spiritually meaningful words.

As a World Music band, TVAMEVA plays a variety of shows. Some memorable past shows include performances at prestigious venues like The John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, National Cherry Blossoms Festival, and Atlas Performing Arts Center in the DC's historic H Street corridor. Since TVAMEVA's 'Wammies-DC' nominated multi-lingual debut album 'Upakrama - The Beginning' in 2019, the band has published Multiple albums and Singles.

TVAMEVA's music has been received with great critical review around the globe, and was featured on BBC Radio. in 2020. As the world evolves in a post-pandemic-and-majorly-vaccinated world, there is more exciting music in the near future, beginning in 2022. A fresh start - all over again !
